Image
Hellooooo Monday and Blogland friends.  Just popping in to share a journal page I did last week, but didn't have a chance to share it till this morning. (the date on the page is wrong LOL) I am joining the group over at  Art Journal Journey  , where the challenge is Poetry in Motion. The background is simply tissue paper and paint.  The poem is from my electric hoarding on Pinterest...........couldn't pass it up!  I created this page to remind myself what I am NOT...how about you?

Poetry in Motion for AJJ

Finally, taking some much need craft time, I decided some art journaling was called for!! Jo of  Lets Art Journal  is the hostess for  Art Journal Journey  this month and she chose Poetry in Motion and challenged everyone to use their favorite poems, quotes and sayings to inspire your art. HELLO PINTEREST Ok, so I'm an electronic hoarder over on Pinterest, and actually have a file that is labeled "Says It All".  This is where I save all sorts of sayings and quotes that speak to me, so that is where I looked for some inspiration for this challenge.  I kept coming across this quote, in different fonts and pictures.......yeah, I REALLY do like this quote! I chose this one with the girl and her wings behind the quote, then printed it and trimmed it out. The background is tissue paper, butterfly napkin, in, paint, half a paper Dollie and a stamped image of a butterfly.  I did go around the girl and the quote, the next morning with a Pit Pen and a wet brush to

Welcome to this weeks T-day post, linking up once again with  Elizabeth and the T-gang . This week's drink photos came from a day of shopping with my GD Hannah.  Her birthday is next Saturday, and I asked her if she wanted to do lunch and do some shopping for her birthday........of course the answer was "yes!" I told her we could have lunch first, then shop.....or shop then have lunch.......she chose shop then lunch.  It was HER choice as to where she wanted to shop.....her choice....Target!! We spent a couple hours shopping, getting her a couple of outfits. Then she helped me choose some outfits for my 2 year old GD, Samantha too......whose birthday was in July......but I was buried in packing boxes! Then she chose to go to Chili's for lunch, but the wait was over 30 minutes at 1:30 in the afternoon!!  She said pass and chose Chuy's Mesquite Broiler........a semi fast food place. You can view the menu here .   We started with chips and salsa.

T Day: Coffee and Water and Ice Cream

Welcome back T-gang and friends, thanks for stopping by this wonderful Tuesday.  This morning's drink is black coffee and water for the T-gang .  My water bottle looks like it is looking back at you in this photo.....LOL! Since there are a number of family and friends, that have the same bottle I grabbed some nail polish and marked mine.....thus the pink "eyes". It is a bottle from Arbonne, and I think it is for the protein shakes, but I use it to measure my water intake ( so do the others).......4 of them a day is the goal. 4= 1 gallon!  Do I make the goal everyday?....no, but I'm still getting more water than I used to.... and now that the dust is starting to settle, I'll be striving to hit my goal again. MORE ABOUT THE MOVE.  A lot of questions last week......I didn't take very many photos of the whole process, but here are a few.  Packing was really a mind bender, we weren't planning on moving at this time, but the offer on our house was too g

HELLLLOOOOO Friends!  Gosh, it has been ages since I've had a chance to join the  T-Gang , or even get a post written.  What a crazy....insane ( and not to mention scorching hot) summer it has been. So what's in the cupppas this morning?   Green chocolate shake, since the glass is dark gray I took the photo before I screwed the lid on. It is a chocolate, plant based, protein with a scoop of powdered greens and two large pinches of fresh spinach mixed with coconut milk and blended with ice.  This has been my "go to" breakfast this summer......trying to get a little healthier.  This particular shake is an Arbonne shake.  My son and DIL work out at a gym and got started in this and are selling it.  So to help support them I ordered some.....very pricey!!  It starts with a 30 day rest, that is two shakes, two small snacks and a light meal per day.............no coffee!  LOL!!! I really did not drink coffee for 21 days.............I couldn't do the full 30 days and
